What is an EME B-BBEE Sworn Affidavit?

Under the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) Amended B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, businesses with an annual revenue of R10 Million or less qualify as Exempted Micro Enterprises (EMEs).

EMEs do not require costly SANAS rating agency audits. A properly executed, Commissioner of Oaths certified B-BBEE Sworn Affidavit serves as full legal proof of your B-BBEE status for government tender bids, corporate vendor panels, and bank compliance.

Validity: In accordance with dtic practice directives, an EME B-BBEE Sworn Affidavit is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of signing before a Commissioner of Oaths.
